Dear Mediaevisten:

(with apologies for posting in English)

2013 International Congress on Medieval Studies (May 9-12, 2013)

Session co-sponsored by the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library and the Society for Medieval German Studies

New Developments in Digital Resources on Medieval Austria, Germany and Switzerland

With an ever increasing amount of online resources available to scholars, the Hill Museum & Manuscript Library and the Society for Medieval German Studies have co-sponsored a biennial session dedicated to online resources on Austria, Germany and Switzerland for the past several years. The focus has been on bringing scholars together with librarians and other digital resource developers, so that a genuine dialogue between the various interested parties can occur. Resources may cover different aspects of Central European culture, and have included projects related to everyday life, language, literature, historical sources, manuscripts, and other aspects of life.

The last session (in 2011) proved very popular and was attended by about 40 scholars.

We welcome proposals for 20-minute presentations describing new or updated digital projects on medieval Austria, Germany, or Switzerland.

Please forward proposals (no more than a half-page) and/or questions to Matthew Z. Heintzelman (mheintzelma at csbsju.edu<mailto:mheintzelma at csbsju.edu>) by September 15, 2012.

Peace,

Matt Heintzelman
