DIVINE SOUNDS showcases the long tradition of Gregorian chant in medieval and early modern Flanders and reveals its treasury of age-old music manuscripts of various sizes, ages and styles. Internationally renowned ensembles have performed the music of four distinctive antiphoners, of which the video and audio recordings are presented in the installation DIORAMATIZED #02, resulting in a very special listening experience based on the historical musical sources.

Sept siècles de manuscrits du chant grégorien en Flandre

VOIX DIVINES met à l'honneur la longue tradition du grégorien en Flandre médiévale et postmédiévale et nous révèle ses trésors séculaires de manuscrits musicaux de dimension, ancienneté et mise en page différentes. Des compositions provenant de quatre antiphonaires caractéristiques ont été interprétées par de talentueux ensembles de renommée internationale. Des enregistrements visuels et sonores de ces interprétations de sources musicales historiques se retrouvent dans l'installation DIORAMATIZED #02 ce qui mène à une expérience auditive exceptionnelle.
