Subject: solving the empty messages problem
In the past, Christoph has suggested that people with this problem should look at Chem-Hist messages:
https://www-mailman.uni-regensburg.de/pipermail/chem-hist/
>From this page you can go to the messages for September:
https://www-mailman.uni-regensburg.de/pipermail/chem-hist/2022-September/date.html
Including the one by Frank James on !2th September which provoked this query:
https://www-mailman.uni-regensburg.de/pipermail/chem-hist/2022-September/001928.html
Perhaps this is the best way to always see the messages if you have this problem, which actually I rarely have.
Best wishes,
Peter

This is a recurring problem we have discussed many times in the past, but it seems there is still no solution. From my own experience, this problem arises only when reading messages in the IOS Mail app with an iPad or iPhone. That includes your current message. Strangely enough, however, the first few lines of text of the message appear in the preview window of the Mail app, but none of the text is visible in the main window. If you access your mail through a browser, or with a device that does not use IOS, however, the problem does not arise. Thus there is some kind of incompatibility between the IOS Mail app and the CHEM-HIST system.
