It seems to be worse than that, Jeff.  This is a problem that has been
going on for years, and as you say has been discussed many times.
I use email not on any mobile device using iOS, but rather on my MacBook
computer, with the Gmail app and the Safari browser.  For the past several
years, messages from CHEM-HIST have always come to me blank, with no
texts.  I have had no other problem with any other email correspondent --
it is unique to CHEM-HIST.
The only stopgap I have found to work is to click the three vertical dots
on the upper right of the email screen and then choose the "Show Original"
option.
