for the academic year 2023-24. </span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"">The
<span class="highlight">fellowship</span> is open to all interested researchers, whether or not affiliated to a university.

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;mso-ansi-language:EN-US" lang="EN-US">The Visiting Fellowship provides an opportunity for applicants external to the University of St Andrews to participate in the research life of the History
of Mathematics Group within the School, and to research a topic in the University Library’s Special Collections. ). The University Library’s unique Special Collections contain an outstanding collection of books, archives and photography, accumulated throughout the six hundred years since the University’s foundation. They are especially rich in the History of Mathematics

end November, or end January to end April). This will maximize the opportunities for interaction with staff and students.
