nur um ein phonetisches, sondern auch um ein metrisches Problem: Zunächst
einmal wird das stumme e („e caduc“) am Ende der weiblichen Verse im
altfranzösischen wie im neufranzösischen Vers grundsätzlich metrisch nicht
gezählt; also die Verse „C’est le cuens Felipes de Flandres / Qui
miax valt ne fist Alisandres“ („Das ist der Graf Philipp von
Flandern, der Alexander den Großen übertrifft“, Chrétien de Troyes, Le
conte du Graal 13f.) sind echte Achtsilber, obwohl e nach muta cum liquida in „Flandres“
und „Alixandres“ schon aus phonetischen Gründen sicherlich
gesprochen wurde – in diesem Fall würde das e sogar im modernen
französischen Vers gesprochen, aber natürlich niemals metrisch gezählt.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>Im Altfranzösischen war es üblich, das
auslautende e der weiblichen Verse zu sprechen; ich kann jetzt allerdings kein
genaues Datum für den Wechsel zur modernen Regel, es nicht zu sprechen,
angeben, suche aber, ob ich etwas Entsprechendes in den Nachschlagewerken zur
französischen historischen Phonetik finde.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 color=navy face=Arial><span style='font-size:
10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy'>Zu Frau Laude: Die Ausprache des e caduc
ist DAS Grundproblem des französischen Verses im Unterschied zum Vortrag von
Prosatexten; beispielsweise jeder französische Schauspieler beschäftigt sich in
seiner Ausbildung ausführlich damit; man kann keinen französischen Vers korrekt
vortragen, ohne sich damit befasst zu haben. Wenn man Dichtung nicht
grundsätzlich als überflüssig ablehnt, gibt es also durchaus lebensfernere
Probleme.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

style='font-size:12.0pt'>wenn man Wolframs ‚Parzival` oder ‚Willehalm‘
liest und dabei die fast unbetonten e apokopiert bzw. synkopiert, ändert sich
die Silbenzahl stark; manche Verse werden viel stärker oder schwächer gefüllt
als andere; der Text wird je nach Herausgeberentscheidung sehr regelmäßig oder
fast knittelversartig. Manchmal entstehen dadurch bei der einen oder anderen
Art zu lesen komische Effekte, die dazu verleiten können, anzunehmen, Wolfram
wolle damit signalisieren, er meine diese Aussage nicht ernst sondern mache
einen Spaß. Wenn Sie den Parzival nach Lachmann oder Bartsch oder
Leitzmann lesen, entstehen im Leser sehr unterschiedliche Gefühle –
und laut vorgelesen bekommen war im Mittelalter die normale Rezeptionsform.
Niemand las nur mit den Augen, auch wenn er für sich selbst las. Durch unterschiedliches
Lesen wird unsere Einstellung zu den Figuren und ihren Problemen stark
verändert. Wenn Sie diese Frage als ‚lebensfremd‘ bezeichnen,
bezeichnen Sie jeden Versuch, mittelalterliche Literatur verstehen zu wollen,
als lebensfremd. Solche Leute sind zwar auf der Welt die große Mehrheit, aber
die kommen eben nicht auf den Gedanken, sich mit dem Mittelalter zu
beschäftigen.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
