<p class=MsoNormal>nächste Woche wird in Newcastle ein Workshop zum Thema ‚Sacred
Voices‘ stattfinden, in dem es um das Zusammenspiel von Liturgie,
Andachtstexten und Hymnik in Norddeutschland, den Niederlanden und England im
15./16. Jahrhundert gehen wird: http://research.ncl.ac.uk/medingen/sacredvoices/.
Die Ankündigung kommt sehr kurzfristig, aber der Workshop ist auch eher als
Auftakt einer längerfristigen Zusammenarbeit zwischen mediävistischer Musik-
und Textwissenschaft gedacht, mit Schwerpunkt auf Editionsvorhaben.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Gleichzeitig soll bei dem Workshop die Datenbank zu Medinger
Handschriften, die bereits letztes Jahr auf dem Kongress zur Hamburger
Ausstellung von Medinger Handschriften vorgestellt wurde, weiter getestet
werden – und das ist auch ohne eine Reise nach Newcastle möglich. Andres
Laubinger, der die Datenbank entwickelt hat, und ich sind dankbar für alle, die
bereit sind, sich kritisch dieses Instrumentarium, das Text- und
Bildrepräsentation der Handschriften verbinden soll, anschauen:<o:p></o:p></p>
