14.0pt'>vielleicht hat jemanden, der den Film am Sonntag gesehen hat (oder am
1.12. um 14 Uhr noch sehen wird) erstaunt, dass es im Film so klingt, als sei
ich der Meinung, Arminius könne ‚Siegfried’ geheißen haben. Das
wollte der Regisseur; ich halte es für falsch und war auch nicht bereit, es zu
sagen. Da griff er zu folgendem Trick: er bat mich, zuerst die Argumente zu
referieren, die von den Vertretern dieser Theorie vorgebracht wurden,und dann
meine Gegenargumente, vor allem, dass der Name ‚Siegfried‘ erst in
der 2. Hälfte des 7. Jh. auftritt, und, falls man einen frühen Helden dieses
Namens durchgehend in Erinnerung behalten hätte, dieses Weiterleben mit
Nachbenennungen verbunden gewesen wäre - man hätte diesen Helden unter die
eigenen mythischen Vorfahren eingereiht und Söhne nach ihm benannt. Da unter
den Namenmassen bei Gregor von Tours und Fredegar kein einziger
‚Siegfried‘ auftritt, ist das äußerst unwahrscheinlich.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=4 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
14.0pt'>Für den Film nahm man dann die erste Hälfte des Interviews, und strich
weg, dass ich da nicht meine, sondern die Meinung anderer referiere, und meine
eigene Erklärung ließ man ganz fort – der Teil des Films über Arminius
wäre dann ja nicht so möglich gewesen.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=4 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
14.0pt'>Als ich den Film sah, wusste ich zuerst nicht, ob ich weinen oder
lachen soll, entschied mich aber für das zweite, als mir ein Fernseh-Insider
erklärte, dass das beim Fernsehen das Normale sei und mit Interviews
prinzipiell so umgegangen werde, dass es so aussieht, als sage der Interviewte
die Meinung des Regisseurs. Also: wenn im Fernsehen jemand etwas sagt, darf man
prinzipiell nicht glauben, dass er es im Inteview tatsächlich so gesagt hat!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
